Controls ManagerEdinburgh   £35000 - £40000 per annum + car, bonus, pension

A well established financial services company in Edinburgh is eager to recruit a qualified accountant for a SOX Manager job.  Building on the skills and experience you have developed in professional practice or perhaps from a role in industry already, you will play a leading role in progressing the risk and controls processes that were initially implemented for the introduction of SOX.
 
Managing multiple internal clients and ensuring high levels of end user satisfaction is central to the work of the team as of course is complete compliance with SOX requirements.  You will also have exposure to the wider Risk and Audit community of this multinational company, which provides diverse opportunities for future career progression.

My client is keen to recruit a candidate with the following skills:

·A professional accountancy qualification
·Extensive knowledge of the audit process and risk & control frameworks
·Prior knowledge of SOX testing and compliance is highly desirable
·Excellent communication and relationship management skills

Previous experience of financial services is not essential.
