Fast growing business services company in West Lothian are looking for an extra pair of hands in the credit control department.  This is a fast paced, team based environment and this new position has been created due to the constantly increasing client base and company turnover.  Going forwards we are expecting several new positions to be created over the coming months, so for the right candidate this represents an excellent opportunity for career progression - the company always try to promote from within where possible.

Duties will include:

• Chasing outstanding debt via telephone and letter
• Recommending overdue accounts for credit stop and subsequently legal proceedings
• Allocating cash payments
• Maintaining sales ledger

This is a high volume, commercial credit control department.  Monthly collection targets are likely to be in excess of £100K and are made up of predominantly high volume low value accounts.  Previous commercial credit control experience is essential (not collections experience from members of the public) as is the ability to work in a team and good computer skills.  Candidates with accounts assistant experience with a large emphasis on credit control will also be considered.
