Purchase Ledger (maternity cover contract)
Context Recruitment’s client is currently seeking an experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to cover maternity leave. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Supervisor, your key role will be to process all transactions in a timely manner and assist in the resolution of all queries and disputes.
Your duties will include but not be limited to:-
Posting incoming purchase invoices and reconciling contractor and supplier statements
Ensure that batch totals for both Sage and bespoke system are reconciled and balanced
Check ledgers, statements and accounts to identify any issues and take corrective action
Maintain accurate financial records
To be successful in this role, you will have previous Purchase Ledger experience and extensive knowledge of Excel and Sage. You will also have good customer service skills.
