Our client, a rapidly expanding service organisation, is seeking a qualified accountant to play a key role in their group function. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for central finance as well as coordinating the financial outputs from other group operations. This will involve the delivery of high quality management information, the continuous improvement of financial processes and sound leadership at a time of significant change. Specifically, this will include:

Preparation of the monthly reports for the senior management team.
Providing detailed financial and business analysis of monthly, quarterly and annual results.
Providing excellent financial services to all group companies.
Leading the capital expenditure and financial business case analysis.
Preparation, analysis and reporting of the forecasts, annual budgets and long term business plans.
Development of the financial reporting systems including income and expenditures, cash, debtors, fixed assets, creditors, and taxation.
Assisting the Group auditing process.
Development and improvement of finance and business systems and processes.
Managing a small, dedicated finance team.

To meet these challenges, you will be a qualified accountant (ideally CA) with a proven track record in a similar fast-moving and highly competitive sector, where service quality and business performance must be constantly improved. You will possess first class communication skills coupled with the gravitas to make quick and positive decisions which will impact on both non-financial and financial performance. Excellent technical accounting and systems skills are essential.
