We are looking for a Solicitor to assist in carrying out a wide variety of work as part of a small, friendly legal team with a strong emphasis on staff development and work life balance. The post will suit a candidate with an interest in drafting as it will involve conveyancing, both residential and commercial. This is an excellent opportunity to develop one or more areas of expertise within Planning, Environmental and Common Good Law, whist broadening experience across the entire range of law dealt with by a local authority. You should be a qualified solicitor or a trainee nearing the end of your traineeship. You should have the confidence to work under limited supervision, with well developed communication and IT skills. You must have a working knowledge of relevant legislation.
