Financial Accountant Ayrshire North   £30000 - £35000 per annum + benefits

Hudson Global Resources are currently working in conjunction with a prestigious organisation to appoint a newly qualified accountant to assist in the financial support of a £150 million turnover business which is spread across three sites within the UK. Joining the Financial Reporting Team, the team is responsible for overseeing the business's financial reporting function and reporting the financial figures to HQ. This is a challenging and varied role that allows exposure to various accounting areas. Your remit will incorporate:

Assisting in the multi-stage annual budget process;
To review financial internal controls and processes and ensure they are operating as described and in accordance with business financial requirements, and to be robust enough to pass audit;
Monthly VAT records and submissions are maintained/prepared in accordance with legislation and Group reporting calendar;
Treasury management is operational manage the daily banking procedures, BACS governance and to ensure cash forecasting is robust;
Liaise with Group HQ for financial information provision, implementation of new guidelines and interim & year end statutory requirements;
Implement ad hoc projects both within Finance department and in conjunction with the business;
Manage the fixed asset register and investment proposals;
Ensure all Balance Sheet Reconciliations are completed in a timely manner.

To be considered for this opportunity you will be a recently qualified accountant (CA/ACCA) preferably from a blue-chip background and will have the ability and drive to thrive to perform within a challenging reporting culture.
