Cumbrae Community Development Company (CCDC), a registered charity, has restored Garrison House, an imposing building in the centre of Millport, Isle of Cumbrae (population 1,400), and has secured anchor tenants to ensure a sustainable income stream for the property. Garrison House has rapidly become the centre of community activity and an important visitor attraction for the island, and has attracted much media interest.

With the £5 million property restoration stage complete, CCDC’s trading subsidiary, Garrison House (Cumbrae) Ltd. wishes to appoint a Development Manager to implement a Development Plan that will utilise the restored property to aid the regeneration of Cumbrae, Scotland’s most accessible island. In addition the post holder will oversee the management of the property and will review and develop the Development Plan. The post will be for an initial period of 4 years, and a contribution to relocation expenses may be made available. (Previous applicants need not apply).
