Anderson Knight Recruitment are working in partnership with a very prestigious organisation to recruit an experienced PR & Marketing Communications Officer for their Glasgow office.
The purpose of the role is to support the marketing function in its remit to promote & publicise the work of the organisation and its partners. This will include formulating plans to deliver external communications & public relations, initiating & writing copy, placing content, and monitoring media and responses.
Duties will include:
- Supporting the communication, externally, of brand values, and maximising publicity
- Writing press releases, advertorial and other forms of copy for print, web & electronic media, both internal and external
- Represent the company/team at relevant meetings and events, and give presentations on appropriate topics
- Contribute to the overall work of the marketing services team as required
You must have experience of working within a similar role in the public sector, be educated to degree level or equivalent and have the ability to write for and update corporate websites.
First class communication & interpersonal skills are paramount to the role.
This position is a fixed term contract until the 31st March 2009.
You must be immediately available.
