Our client, a Professional Services firm based in central Edinburgh, currently has a vacancy for an experienced Archives Assistant to join their Facilities department. Supporting the Facilities manager, you will be responsible for archiving and retrieving files on request, dealing with enquiries and liaising with staff, binding documents, photocopying and faxing, assisting with office moves, organising room bookings, and other duties as required.
The successful candidate will have recent archiving experience in a professional environment, excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels, both on the telephone and in person. You will have a flexible and adaptable attitude, work well as part of a team and be able to prioritise your workload. Good MS Office skills and proven experience working with databases is essential.
