VAT AnalystGlasgow   £30,000 per Annum

VAT Analyst required for this prestigious Global services company in Glasgow city centre.

Reporting to the VAT Manager you will prepare indirect tax returns for the UK Group as well as some European subsidiaries. You will work in close conjunction with the UK and European Indirect Tax teams analysing data and ensuring accurate and timely preparation and filing of the VAT returns. You will also reconcile the VAT accounts and make preliminary checks of the VAT returns prior to final review.

You will be a part-qualified/qualified accountant with experience of VAT including preparation of detailed returns in an international company. You will possess analytical, systems/process and accounting skills with the ability to recognize underlying issues and develop appropriate resolutions especially in relation to VAT.
