Operations Manager

The job holder will be responsible for the day to day running of all production, planning, purchasing, maintenance, manufacturing and electrical assembly and test and will provide overall direction and management of the facility. They will be responsible for determining the factory/site objectives and policies and assess it’s performance. Additional responsibilities will include the management of resources, preparation of reports, budgets and forecasts and the representation of the organisation in negotiations and meetings and liaison with other organisations. Candidates should have a proven record in the management and control of systems organisation and personnel associated with the manufacturing process and be able to control, on time and within budget, custom designed products and projects. Educated to degree level or equivalent with considerable experience in a general or operations management function.
