The Menzies Irvine has recently undergone a major refurbishment and is currently recruiting for the position of Reservation shift leader. The hotel has 128 bedrooms and is one  of seventeen hotels located throughout the UK.

The Job

You will help maximise revenue through the commercial management of bedroom sales.  You will help set out the strategies for proactive and strategic selling and aim to over achieve on targets.  You will need to ensure that all calls are responded to efficiently and effectively achieving standard operating practices and maximising revenue at all times.  You will have a proven and successful track record in revenue management with a sound working knowledge of yield management, forecasting, lead times, analysing trends and your competitors.

The Person

You will be a strong leader coming from a hotel background.  You will have high standards for yourself and those around you.  This role needs someone who can effectively communicate at all levels both written and verbally.  You will need to make sound business decisions. A working knowledge of Opera PMS or similar is essential.
