A traditional building and civil engineering contractor based on the Isle of Arran is looking for a Quantity Surveyor to be based in their office in Lamlash. The company have been in the industry for over 50 years and are involved in a variety of contracts including general Construction, House Building, Plant & Transport and Quarrying.
The successful candidate should have a professional qualification to at least HNC level (or equivalent) in a construction related discipline. A prove track record in a similar role is essential.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for to following duties:
- Procurement of Sub contractors
- Dealing with variations and valuations
- Cost reporting
- Preparing final accounts
- Liaising with site teams.
