Reed Specialist are looking to recruit Data Capture & Coding Operators literate in Gaelic for a large Government run project based in Livingston.

The project will run on an ongoing basis with the first intake of staff at the beginning of June. It is essential that all applicants are able to commit to a potential long term contract.

 

Duties will involve keying in and coding information taken from questionnaires sent to households around Scotland. Gaelic speakers are required to key in and code questionnaires completed in Gaelic. Candidates must be IT proficient and able to use the 10 key keypad by touch. Ideally candidates will achieve 10,000 key strokes per hour, so experience within a data entry role is preferred.

 

Candidates must also:

·        Have the ability to communicate effectively, understand and assimilate  written information.

·        Obtain good organisational and analytical skills. 

·        Be literate in English and Gaelic.

·        Must pass keying test.

 

Due to the sensitive nature of the project, all candidates MUST have a valid Disclosure Scotland form or be willing to have Disclosure checks carried out. This can be done online.
