With the continued growth of Abbey for Intermediaries, an exciting opportunity of Administration Manager has arisen.
The intermediary division of the bank is responsible for the sale of mortgages and insurance products through Independent Financial Advisers (IFAs) and represents one of the largest parts of the banks business. You will be an experienced Administration Manager who will join the new management team.
The role will be accountable for the supervision of all Senior and Administrator staff. You will also be responsible for the site’s administrative performance, productivity, service standards and effective management of Administration resource in relation to work volume, case packaging, quality risk, and compliance.
You will be required to manage all end-to-end processing of successful mortgage and GI applications, within agreed timeframes and to required quality standards, whilst maintaining overall site management accountability. You will be responsible for delivering against the site’s productivity and service targets to ensure correct adherence to process and policy as stipulated within Abbeys frameworks.
Our ideal candidate will already be a highly effective Administration manager, with successful experience of managing/developing and coaching large number of admin staff to achieve targets. With a proven track record of achieving targets you will possess strong leadership and interpersonal skills, and have the ability to communicate at all levels using your own initiative. With excellent numerate and literate skills as well as accurate data inputting skills you will hold a thorough understanding of relevant regulatory requirements e.g. FSA Guidelines, Council of Mortgage Lenders, Money Laundering etc.
