Residential Project Worker

Caern Project, Short Breaks, Edinburgh
Caern is a key provider of residential short-break services for children with learning disabilities. We offer the chance for children and young people to have a fun, meaningful experience away from home, as well as providing regular breaks for families. We’re based in a purpose built centre in Gogarbank, Edinburgh. This is unfortunately not accessible by public transport.
Joining our highly motivated and experienced residential staff team, you’ll fulfil a ‘Key Worker’ role, involving a range of duties, including direct work with children and families, care planning and inter-agency work. With experience of working within a social care setting and within a team, you’ll have excellent organisational skills. You’ll also need to drive the project vehicles, so a full UK driving licence is essential. Eligibility to register with the SSSC is essential.
