Drivebusiness have an exciting opportunity for talented PHP Programmers to join our team of developers.
We will give you the opportunity to deliver innovative and cutting edge front-end and back-end programming for some fantastic projects for a huge range of clients, in the fashion, retail, and music industries.
You will be capable of delivering innovative functionality for the coolest, sexiest, and most exciting web sites to the highest standards of quality.
You will have excellent PHP and Object Oriented programming skills,
You will be capable of delivering, on your own and as part of a team, to the highest standards of quality.
You will be flexible in your approach to the role and will have the ability to complete multiple tasks to challenging deadlines.
You will have the communications skills to collaborate with graphic designers, client account managers, other programmers and business analysts to ensure projects are delivered on time to the highest quality.
You must have 3+ years of relevant commercial experience.
Essential skills include:
· Demonstrably excellent track record of developing dynamic websites using PHP
· Good relational database skills, with experience of MySQL
· Strong HTML skills, including CSS and scripting.
· Ability to complete multiple tasks to challenging deadlines.
· Working knowledge of best practice or project lifecycles.
· Flexibility in approach to the role.
Desirable skills/ experience include:
· AJAX
· Data modeling
· Version control (subversion)
· Issue management tools (JIRA)
· Linux
Some exposure to the fashion, retail or music industries would be useful but not essential.
You will be responsible for:
· Participating in the systems development lifecycle, producing efficient and reliable code to the highest quality.
· Preparing documents for internal and external use to agreed standards.
· Participating in the testing of systems being developed.
· Collaborating with Client Account Managers, Designers and Business Analysts.
Some UK travel may be required.
