Exciting and challenging opportunities have arisen for motivated individuals in Primary Care and Addiction Services to practice nursing within Scottish Prison Service. We aim to provide and deliver high standards of care within health care services in a secure environment. We provide quality health care to male prisoners in the areas of Primary Care, Mental Health and Addictions Services.

 

You must have good communication and interpersonal skills and be a 1st Level Registered Nurse. Evidence of post registration experience is essential in any of the above clinical areas. Working on a shift basis within a multidisciplinary team you will find creative and innovative solutions to the health issues facing our prisoner patient population.
