We are an ambitious council wishing to develop a reputation for excellence. You will lead a busy press office team, and build first-class relationships with the national and local media. You will be responsible for implementing the Council’s media strategy, generating all national and regional print and broadcast coverage and leading the development of a web strategy. You must demonstrate experience in managing communication around major change initiatives and display excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. It is essential that you have line management experience and a keen interest in local government.
