EXPORT SALES CO-ORDINATOR
- £25k + benefits
The Opportunity
British Polythene Industries PLC (bpi) is the largest producer of polythene packaging products in Europe. We want to appoint an Export Sales Co-ordinator for our horticultural films business based at Ardeer in Ayrshire. The business produces 5 ktes of wide film for field cover, greenhouse and polytunnel applications which are sold across the UK, Europe and other overseas markets.
The Job
You will be responsible for providing primary support and advice to our overseas customer base and operating the central hub of all export activity for these products. You will work with the external field sales team to satisfy customer needs and develop sales order processing and administration systems that can cope with the vagaries of export shipping documentation. You will develop technical, product, market and machinery knowledge and there will be some need to travel to overseas customers and trade exhibitions.
The Person
The role would suit a confident, highly motivated and organised linguist with preferably any combination of fluent French, Spanish or German. ‘Deep sea’ export experience is a distinct advantage. Candidates must be tenacious, self reliant and have an ability to communicate with a broad range of people across the business. You must be prepared to initially work between Stockton on Tees (North East England) and Ardeer before being based at Ardeer permanently from 2010. Opportunities for further career development will exist.
How to Apply
Please send your CV and covering letter (including your current salary details) to Loraine Denning, Group Personnel Administrator via email by 10th July 2009.
