Eden Scott’s client is an established research institute for Environmental, Health, Hygiene and Safety in industry. We are looking for a Senior Research Scientist/ Engineer, with post-doctoral experience in environmental and occupational exposure research. You will have previous quantitative research experience and ideally in human exposure research. You will have proven analytical and problem solving capacity and a good publication record as well as experience in developing research proposals.   

Principal research areas:

• Exposure assessment (chemical, physical or biological agents)
• Environment and health
• Epidemiology
• Computational toxicology
• Ergonomics and behavioural
• Social sciences

The principle research and administrative tasks will include:

• Pursuing research and consultancy opportunities and developing proposals;
• Manage research project and supervise projects teams;
• Developing and maintaining good links with research sponsors;
• Collecting, analysing and interpreting data from exposure surveys and laboratory experiments;
• Writing reports and scientific papers;
• Various administrative duties.

Candidates should have a valid driving licence and be prepared to travel
