Residential Child Care Worker Ayrshire East   £8.00 - £10.50 per hour

Our client is currently looking to provide support within the Residential Social Care Sector to be part of a team offering a comprehensive Residential Service to Children and Young People, the aim being toe ensure the Physical, Social and Emotional Care and development of the Children and the Young People at the establishment. 

• Also to work in line with Young Peoples care plans.
• Assisting in the health promotion and personal hygiene development of the young people.

Essential Skills / Qualifications:

• SVQ3 and HNC (or equivalent which allows Registration with the SSSC)
• TCI Trained/CALM Desirable
• Experience within the Residential Childcare Sector desirable.
• Effective communication skills with colleagues outside agencies, children and families also an understanding of the needs of Young People in public care.
