An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Student Recruitment team. The team is responsible for marketing the University, its courses and facilities to potential students from home and overseas.

You will be responsible for promoting the University internationally (primarily within the Indian Subcontinent) and also within the UK.  In addition to overseas travel, you will contribute to on-going marketing strategy within the key territory, and developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as agents, careers officers, and teachers.

You should be educated to degree level and have excellent organisational and communication skills.  In addition, you must be willing to travel overseas and hold a full current driving licence. You will be required to work outwith normal hours (evenings & weekends) so a flexible approach to meet demands of the post is essential.  Knowledge of higher education and marketing, or previous experience in a similar post will be an advantage.

At the present time, a full-time maternity cover post is available, initially until March 2010.
