Accounts Payable Assistant - 6 month Fixed Term Contract

As Accounts Payable Assistant you will be working within our exciting and evolving Operational Finance department - working as part of a team in a dynamic and challenging environment.
Your key responsibilities will include:
-Processing supplier/self billing invoices and cheque requests
-Undertaking supplier statement reconciliation
-Dealing with supplier queries by phone and email
-Processing debit items on bank statements
-Assisting with weekly payments runs, as required
-Maintaining address book to reduce redundant or duplicate suppliers
-Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures on payment authorisation
We would love you to have:
-Experience of working within an accounts payable function; reconciliation experience
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Excellent PC skills including MS Excel, Access and JD Edwards
-The ability to work as part of a busy team and on your own initiative
Ideally you will already have knowledge of Accounts Payable processes in a high volume environment and have worked in a similar role, which will help you fit right in!
You will be based in Livingston, West Lothian, Scotland.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 08.30 – 17.00, 37.5 hours per week.
Contract length: 6 month fixed term contract.
