Position Final Pensions Salary Administrator- Edinburgh
Contract: 3 months
Salary: Excellent
Due to an increase in business volumes our client is looking for an experienced Pension Administrator to join their in house Pensions team for a period of 3 months.
As a Final Salary Pensions Administrator you will provide an efficient clerical and administrative support service to the Company Pension Scheme and to the Pensions Manager.
Specific duties will include:
-Pension benefits calculations in accordance with current legislation and departmental guidelines.
-Tasks and calculations such as new entrants, retirements, ill health and injury awards, refunds, preserved benefits, divorces, transfers, additional contributions and deaths.
-Draft responses to written queries from scheme members and beneficiaries, and internal and external interested parties.
-Deal with telephone enquiries, referring cases to senior colleagues or the Pensions Manager where validation of the response is appropriate
-Input payments and data changes to the pensions payroll system investigating exceptions and deviances.
-Deal with project work as required.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity it is essential that you have previous Final Salary Pension experience, strong attention to detail and are able to commence work at short notice.
