Credit Controller Glasgow   £18,000 to £20,000

Ceridian, one of the worlds largest HR and Payroll outsourcing companies is seeking talented Credit Controllers, to join their very enthusiastic and dynamic office based in Glasgow.

As a Credit Controller, you will need to ensure the collection of funds due and swift resolution of queries to maximise the collection of overdue debt in a highly efficient, timely, and professional manner. Some of the key accountabilities within the role will include

§          Credit management of designated customer base to ensure timely collection of debt

§          Produce Aged Debt Reports with commentary for Financial reporting requirements

§          Work with Service Delivery Managers to resolve service issues via the agreed SLA

§          Remit customer statements of account to ensure the customer has full understanding of outstanding debt being chased for payment

§          Manage overdue accounts to minimise the risk of bad debt

§          Provide analysis and recommendation for Bad Debt Provision

§          Manage refund requests for credit balances to maximise customer satisfaction

§          Process write offs and transition of unresolved debt to Collection Agency

§          Initiate Credit Notes when due for swift resolution of queries

§          Initiate credit checks on existing customers to flag potential bad debt situations.

Working very closely with the Finance team, you should have a vast amount of credit control experience, with good interpersonal skills and show high levels of initiative and judgment. You should have excellent communication skills and have great problem solving skills. Some knowledge of Direct Debit Scheme and Great Plains skills will also be beneficial.
