Contracts Specialist

Leading Edinburgh based public sector organisation are looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Specialist.
Role description
Reporting into the procurement Manager you will manage a large spend and provide guidance to customers on the specification and the procurement process, conducting evaluations and supplier negotiations and contract formation.
Who we're looking for
• Professional procurement experience gained within a comparable organisation. (Preferably public sector).
• Experience of leading project teams.
• Experience of working with managers at all levels, from both internal and external to the organisation.
• Excellent understanding of EU and UK procurement legislation including knowledge of competitive tendering and enquiry procedures.
• Excellent Communication skills.
• Good Analytical and Data analysis skills.
