EAC After School Clubs is an established and successful company offering specialist services in after school childcare in the Edinburgh area.
Due to continued expansion, we urgently require friendly and enthusiastic candidates to fill the positions of Deputy Play Leaders and Play Assistants within some of our clubs in and around Edinburgh.
Our Play Assistants are responsible for the direct care of the children attending the clubs, ensuring they are safe and entertained at all times by leading a variety of sporting and general activities.
Qualified/ working towards/ willing to work towards SVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent, related qualification OR currently studying towards a degree level qualification in a related discipline within an educational/ care or therapy environment, candidates for these positions should demonstrate a responsible attitude and an enthusiasm for working with children.
All positions are Monday to Friday, 22.5 hours per week (or part thereof, if required, for Play Assistants) and afternoons only. Successful candidates will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Scotland police check before commencing employment.
Suitably experienced individuals without qualifications may be considered provided they are willing to undertake the required qualification. Support and funding may be available to assist with this process.
