An interesting opportunity has arisen for either a finalist or qualified accountant (CIMA preferred but the experience being key) to support the operational business areas. They demand a service that is dynamic; completely business focussed and value adding. The successful candidate will provide a finance service geared to help the business areas exceed their objectives and targets.
Job Purpose
To assist the Finance Team in achieving its objectives as set out in the business plan, by providing timely, accurate and effective financial/accounting information.
Accountabilities:
*Preparation of management accounts, ensuring the service is accurate, dynamic and timely
*Preparation of the Cost Allocations Model, working with all areas to define drivers
*Production of regular management information from Retail & Group, ensuring the information
is both accurate, timely and relevant
*Variance analysis where appropriate, against plan/forecast
*Undertake analysis as required to facilitate resolution of issues and to develop further insight into
financial information
*Establish and maintain professional working relationships with internal and external customers
