Procurement Officer Glasgow

Our client is looking to appoint an experienced Procurement Professional who will be responsible for developing the Service's corporate procurement strategy and ensuring compliance for all procurement activity across the organisation for a 12 month contract

The Post holder shall be responsible for undertaking the tender process in relation to the procurement of a new HR/Payroll System and it is anticipated that the procurement of the new system shall take 12 months to complete.

You will bring a record of innovative thinking on a range of procurement issues, including knowledge and experience of the full tender process inclusive of the development of tender documentation, supplier selection and tender evaluation.

Experience in all stages of the procurement process.
Knowledge of public sector procurement legislation.
Track record of leading major projects to successful conclusion.
Experience of managing multiple tender exercises successfully.
