PhD qualified Molecular Biologist with industrial experience gained in a progressive life science environment is required for expanding scientific company.  Applicants must have proven technical expertise working with - nucleic acid purification, cDNA/expression libraries, cloning methods, RNAi and epigenetic technologies as well as protein expression/purification and mammalian tissue culture/transfection methods.  Being used to the demands of a fast paced and pressurized work place, candidates should also have extensive project management skills and should be working at leadership level in their current role.  With overall responsibility for Genomics Services, day to day tasks will include managing costs, overseeing staff, scheduling work requirements, ensuring client satisfaction, monitoring industry trends as well as setting up and achieving KPI’s.   Candidates must also have the ability to analyse complex data, carry out research design, prioritize project milestones and resources, as well as prepare technical reports in compliance with industry regulatory requirements.  This is a highly commercial role for a business savvy scientist who is passionate about their field of genomics and who can effectively manage projects and achieve business objectives all within time and budget. ** Patent experience is also considered highly advantageous for this role.  Please apply now stating your current salary and notice period.
