Skillset is the Sector Skills Council (SSC) for Creative Media. Jointly funded by industry and Government, our job is to support the UK creative media industries so that they have the right people, with the right skills, in the right place, at the right time, so that they remain economically and creatively competitive.

We are currently recruiting for the following position:

Skillset Academy Network Manager (Scotland)

Skillset’s Screen and Media Academies form a national network of colleges and universities that work with industry to offer CPD for existing staff and to develop the new generation of media talent.

The Skillset Academy Network Manager (Scotland) will support and maximise the development of productive collaborations between Skillset’s Academy partners in Scotland, Skillset’s National Board for Scotland, industry and UK-wide network of Skillset Academies. They will work with Skillset’s Approved Screen and Media Academies in Scotland to co-ordinate the Scottish Academy network, including indentification and commissioning of CPD, enhancing opportunities for industry engagement, and other training opportunities at the academies.

Salary: c. £35,000 pa, plus benefits package

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 40 Hours per week
