Glasgow South West Regeneration Agency (GSWRA) is a local regeneration agency responsible for the social and economic regeneration of the South West area. We are now seeking to fill the following post, initially for a 24 month period when it will be reviewed:

£30,861 - £40,623 per annum Plus Benefits

This post represents a new, exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join the Senior Management Team at GSWRA. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, the post holder will contribute to the strategic management of the company by playing a lead role in securing new contracts such as those offered by the Department for Work and Pensions (e.g. Flexible New Deal). A comprehensive package of skills will be expected, from identifying opportunities; liaising with relevant partners/parties & writing appropriately costed bids; whilst at the same time ensuring that service delivery can be effectively integrated into the Company’s existing employability structures.

The successful candidate will have relevant experience within local economic regeneration and hold, or be working towards, an appropriate degree. Excellent communication skills and experience of partnership and multi-agency working are prerequisites for the role.
