Our client a global firm is seeking an assistant financial controller to join their finance team. The purpose of this role is to assist with the financial control, planning, analysis and reporting. Key responsibilities include assisting in management and financial reporting preparing of monthly finance reports and quarterly information. You will also be involved in reviewing of monthly and quarterly VAT returns and preparation of statutory financial statements.
You will be a qualified accountant with experience working in an accounts team including month end close processes, reconciliations, analysis and preparation of regulatory returns. Knowledge of using JD Edwards and banking software is desirable. Excellent communications skills and strong attention to detail is a must.
