HR Consultancy are working with a leading international business with offices in Glasgow City Centre. Our client currently have an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual to join their finance team as a Payroll Accounts Assistant.
The purpose of this role is to reconcile all Payroll related financial systems and to ensure that all Payroll accounts accurately reflect all processed payroll and respective payroll liabilities. To be considered for this role you will have extensive experience of reconciliation work and an understanding of nominal ledger accounting to trial balance. Experience of profit and loss and budgets would be beneficial and exposure to payroll processes a distinct advantage.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Prepare, analyse and provide information on a lunar basis to deliver accurate payroll accounts and ensure completion of reconciliations within agreed timescales.
- Assist with preparation of profit & loss budgets and forecast, to ensure the payroll accounts & the group accounts are accurate
- Prepare & provide all Payroll Costings & Interface files to ensure all are completed within agreed timescales, so that Finance system accurately reflects payroll costs
- Ensure all quality control checks are adhered to, in all areas of responsibility, so that accurate information is delivered to internal & external customers including relevant 3rd parties
- Request payroll invoices regarding supported placement employees and control subsequent payments received, so that all payments are paid accurately and on time, to relevant parties
- As directed by your line manager undertake testing of all system upgrades and enhancements that impact your area of responsibility
