HR Consultancy’s leading client are an international business with offices in Glasgow City Centre.  Due to continued business growth, they are now looking for an experienced Payroll Assistant to join them on a permanent basis. 

To be considered for this role you will already be working in a Payroll environment and will have a steady career history.  You will have strong knowledge of manual calculations and up to date payroll legislation knowledge.  A strong focus on customer service is essential. 

Key duties will include:

  • Processing high volume, multiple payrolls
  • Dealing with new starts and leavers, P45s, P46s etc
  • Processing SSP,SMP, SPP and SAP
  • Manual calculations
  • Dealing with adjustments and third party payments
  • Dealing with staff and third party queries
  • Preparing BACS
  • Assisting with year end duties
