One of the key growth areas within the organisation is the Procurement function and as a result, a vacancy has arisen for a Senior Buyer. We are looking to hear from experienced buyers with Strong Technical Knowledge. Key Role Responsibilities:- 

• Undertake the pricing of new parts.
• Ensure accuracy of contract purchase order costs
• Ensure cost saving targets are achieved year on year using a variety of strategic purchasing toolkit techniques
• Continually evaluate the supply base
• Lead cross-functional teams in the supplier selection process
• Maintain supply agreement and ensure that suppliers give the level of service and support required by all departments

• Strong negotiation ability and an assertive approach to problem resolution
• Has the ability to maintain and adhere to working procedures, practices and standards,
• Previous experience and knowledge of recognised purchasing methods
  Demonstrates a professional approach towards suppliers at all times,
• Shows flexibility, a good team working spirit and a positive ‘can do, will do’ attitude
• Keen to participate and contribute towards continuous improvement and be positively responsive to change
• Possesses a strong technical product knowledge and understanding
• Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team
