My name is Vikki and I manage recruitment for a leading Life & pensions company, they are currently seeking 2 experienced individuals to work in their Purchase to Pay Department to cover maternity leave on a 9 month contract as a Purchase to Pay Administrator.
The Purchase to Pay teams deal with both internal and external customers to ensure that supplier invoices are paid on time and that staff expenses are settled quickly.
One role will be in their high quality Purchase to Pay Service team which handles all telephony queries into the department. and the other will be in their busy Purchase to Pay Operations team which handles the administration processing.
To be successful in either of these roles you will need to have experience within an accounts payable function and strong customer service skills to ensure that customer queries are answered quickly and accurately. You will need to be able to demonstrate an understanding of financial data and be able to work to demanding timescales.
Essential:
- Previous experience in Accounts payable, ideally within financial service
- Excellent customer service skills
- Willing to work on own initiative
- High level of numeracy
- Good PC skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting practice
