Fantastic job opportunity to join a world leader in Global Procurement within the Finance Sector.
Working within the Core Operations sourcing team which is primarily responsible for the sourcing of end-to-end core processes, the Sourcing Group Specialist assists in negotiation and management of a sourcing process and shall support the achievement of unit plan/objectives by managing discrete tasks/projects, producing MI and undertaking information gathering, research and analysis of information. In addition, you shall support other sourcing specialists and be responsible for key commercial purchasing processes for certain contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Qualification and specification of most cost effective procurement decision in relation to client/supply parameters
- Ensure understanding of Purchasing principles of policies
- Management of sourcing processes and contracts in a cost effective manner
Deliver project requirements in the context of purchasing principles
- Develop effective relationships with key stakeholders, in order to determine customer needs
- Liaising with external contract providers in relation to procurements
Educated to Graduate Degree level with sound commercial business acumen and strong interpersonal skills, you shall be able to demonstrate your capability through your experience of developing strong business relationships both with internal clients and external suppliers in a purchasing or supply chain environment.

- Proven Commercial Experience in a purchasing/supply chain environment
- Stakeholder and Supplier Management Experience
- Analysis and reporting
- Excellent Negotiation & Communication skills Prior experience in Financial Services environment - desirable
