We are currently looking for a Sales Specialist in the field of Intravenous / Critical Care with one of the most successful hospital and healthcare supplies distributor in Ireland and the UK. The organisation promotes market-leading products to a wide range of healthcare professionals, hospitals and laboratories. This is a permanent position to cover the Central Belt of Scotland and carries an excellent salary package (Bonus and company car included)

The main responsibilities of this role is to maintain current business in the territory and to create new sales against budget within their IV product range. Selling the clinical benefits of our product range through sales presentations and product evaluations. Achievement of revenue and targets as per budget plan. Creating and raising awareness of the Company as a leader in the sale of Intravenous products. Sales Developments to Clinical and/or Nursing Consultants and Purchasing Managers. Providing accurate reporting of relevant internal and external market information that may impact on the business. Completion of administration as required. Attending nationals conferences/exhibitions/training etc. as required.

To be successful in this role, you must have either Nursing / Technical / Medical Staff with experience working to an advanced level in Critical Care or Oncology / Haematology areas AND / OR a minimum of 2 years of Sales experience in Emergency, Critical Care or Oncology / Haematology products, particularly in the areas of Hospital Intravenous / Critical Care Sales.

You must also have be IT literate, have a full clean driver license, good market awareness to understand where the key opportunities for the development of new business lie, be dynamic and have a self motivated personality with team work approach and a 'Can Do' attitude. Excellent communication skills with an ability to close out opportunities to achieve budgets and development of long term business and an ability to establish and maintain high quality partnership relationships with our Customers. This role can involve extended hours and include both national and international travel as required.
