ELECTRICAL FIELD TECHNICIAN, Can be based – Central Belt, Fife, Lothian

The Duties:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Field Technician to join their team.

The main purpose of this role will be to carry out electrical installation and repair activities as part of a field engineering delivery team within the water industry.

Responsibilities to include:

•Attending client sites across Scotland (pumping stations), faultfinding, assessing issues and reporting information to project engineering team.
•Carrying out practical electrical engineering tasks in accordance with appropriate methodology.
•Interpret technical drawings and scoping documents
•Ensure electrical safety procedures are adhered to when on-site.
•Working on own initiative in a field based environment

Field Based:

As this role is field based covering Scotland, we are keen to accept applications from those residing in the following locations:

Central Belt, Fife, Lothian

Skills/Competencies/Experience Required:

•Qualifed/timeserved in Electrical Engineering (HNC,HND, City & Guilds or similar)
•A degree of mechanical engineering competency
•Health & Safety awareness
•Knowledge of SCADA control systems (very basic programming skills)
•CSCS card or equivalent.
•17th Edition preferred & Compex preferred
