Due to Internal moves and business growth we are currently looking to recruit an Assistant Manager for a well known food multiple. As Assistant Manager you will be responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving sales within all departments through motivating a team to deliver outstanding customer service, maintain excellent stock availability, have that exceptional eye for detail when merchandising and be commercially aware in order to spot potential opportunities to develop sales within the local market.

 

Previous food retail experience within either ambient or fresh foods is essential to be a success in this role.

Applying candidates must be commercially focused, have the drive and desire to succeed, be able to motivate a team to deliver exceptional customer service, they must be process driven and have the ability to work on their own initiative whilst developing the business.

Our client is a well known supermarket / convenience retailer who operate over 900 units across 3 formats nationally. They are currently looking to add to their management team within the north of Scotland after reporting fantastic sales growth year on year for the early part of 2009.

 

Package:
