Salary: Up to 24,927 plus benefits
Hours: 35 per week
Holidays: 25 plus public holidays
Reporting to: Employability & Skills Team Leader
Job Profile;
To establish and maintain excellent relationships with employers, understanding their needs, identifying, securing and linking employment, placement and development opportunities with RTWS clients.
Personal Profile:
You will have a genuine interest in people, confident, articulate, and enthusiastic with the ability to engage employers, working hard to create and maintain relationships. You will relish the daily challenge your job provides, thinking on your feet and responding well to a target driven environment.
Main Aims
· Develop new business relationships which provide significant levels of sustainable employment opportunities for clients
· Work with employers in the business community to identify recruitment and training needs developing sector specific route ways to meet employer needs
· Develop a good understanding of the business community and sectors.
· Utilise sales, business development and marketing techniques to build relationships with employers to attract employment and training opportunities.
· Maintain accurate vacancy management systems and up to date employer databases
· Research and develop excellent understanding of issues affecting the business sectors and collect competitor intelligence.
· Liaise with RTWS key staff to identify and secure suitable clients for employer vacancies and opportunities.
Key Competencies
· An ability to understand employer needs, and to work to exceed them.
· Relevant experience in the business recruitment industry.
· A proven track record of generating new opportunities and closing business.
· Strong employer engagement skills.
· A positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.
· A clear understanding of how to identify business recruitment and training needs.
· A willingness to be creative and contribute to continuous improvement of service delivery.
· Knowledge of the current Labour Market and recruitment and retention practices of employers.
· Commitment and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
