Large, National, well established business travel organisation, seek to expand their Scottish team, specifically within their Lanarkshire based offices.  Centrally located and easy to access by public transport, the East Kilbride site has multiple departments and offers genuine career progression opportunities in the future.

THE ROLE

  • Dealing specifically with BUSINESS/CORPORATE travel customers
  • Handling bookings and payment over the telephone and online
  • Responsible for ticket, travel, car hire, hotel and general flight information and confirmation, as well as any necessary alterations and amendments to arrangements
  • Handling complaints and disputes where required
  • Meeting corporate customers agreed service levels as well as internal service levels and procedures

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Previous experience within the travel industry, in particular business travel
  • Experience of travel based systems such as Galileo, Sabre, Amadeus and World span
  • Proven ability to be able to converse confidently with all levels of business people over the telephone
  • You must enjoy working in a team driven environment
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills

WORKING HOURS

Excellent hours offering a work/life balance, generally Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, although, as with most large employers, a degree of flexibility is required.
