Kelly Scientific Shift Analyst Grangemouth   £18,000 to £20,000 plus Shift

We are currently seeking a Shift Analyst for a 6 month temporary contract based in Grangemouth.

The role will involve performing analysis of samples using a wide range of analytical techniques including HPLC, GC, ILC, UV/Vis, ICP, KF, pH, Conductivity, Surface tension, Density, Viscosity & various wet chemical techniques. You will be responsible for recording and reporting all of your results. This is a shift role and will involve 2 day shifts, 2 night shifts and 6 days off. This a very demanding and critical role, its lead time driven and customer facing.

The successful applicant will be degree Qualified in Chemistry or a relevant subject, have knowledge of a range of analytical techniques, have the ability to work in a regulated environment and have industrially gained experience of analytical techniques.

Previous experience in analytical method development / validation, working in a QC role in a regulated environment would be extremely advantageous. Due to the timings of the shifts your own transport is essential.
