Role description

Following a comprehensive training programme, you will take control of a large, high turnover mixed product superstore. You will be a figurehead of a large management team of retail specialists, driving them to deliver industry leading standards and exceptional performance. Managing through a core senior team, you will focus on implementing well defined operational systems, whilst analysing and considering new ways to improve the business.

Who we're looking for

You MUST be currently working at a senior level in the supermarket/wholesale sector and have held direct P & L accountability for a minimum turnover of £50 million per annum. Applicants without this experience will unfortunately be unsuitable. This is a very senior role within our clients business, however should not be an end point to your career. Ourclient is looking to meet individuals who are able to deliver across a wide product mix within a diverse management team in a challenging environment. The potential to grow into a more senior field based role is also a possibility for the right individual. Exposure to a high volume food retail business is essential.
