NetworkersMSB are exclusively recruiting for an experienced User Experience Designer / Information Architect for a growing Web Design company based in Glasgow City Centre.

Our client are a technology solutions provider specialising in web applications development across a range of industry sectors including; health service, local government, leisure, financial and retail.

The role will be heavily centred on using your own experience and project analysis/research experience to drive innovation and develop design solutions. You must have proven experience with primary user research methods such as User Testing and Ethnography, enthusiasm and a desire to learn combined with exceptional ideation and design skills . Any experience or understanding within the health sector, e.g. clinical systems, would be of great advantage, as would previous use of the tool Axure.

Projects will require expert evaluation of user needs, and in some cases, existing systems, to highlight the key user experience issues, concept and design workshops including personas, site architecture and page sketches and Usability testing on wireframe prototypes. You must be comfortable in these areas.

Daily duties include user-centred design activities, developing information architectures, defining sites structures, wire framing interfaces, developing a deep understanding of target audiences, presenting ideas and being able to communicate with a wide range of people – technical to executive level.

This role will ideally suit candidates who are currently experienced Usability Specialists looking for a rewarding new challenge or an Information Architect or Interaction Designer ready to make the next step.
