Regional Civil Engineering contractor seeks an experienced Estimator to manage their civil engineering division based in Ayrshire. The company turnover circa £20M in value with projects ranging from £1-6M in value. Contracts include competitive tender and a lot of negotiated work through existing partners therefore a flexible pricing strategy is essential.
Projects include public realm works, roads, carriageways and surfacing and ground works packages for major commercial and retail developments.

This is a senior position and as such requires an experienced Civils Estimator with good man management skills to be able to lead the team. You will be responsible for two other Estimators and admin support staff. A proven track record in civil engineering estimating is essential, ideally with a technical background as a qualified Civil Engineer / Site Manager to demonstrate a technical understanding.
