Service Leader - Highways Division Edinburgh   £55,000 - £60,000pa + executive benefits package

THE DIVISION:

The highways sector assists clients in the planning, construction, maintenance and management of projects. Through a variety of expertise they advise on key areas such as:

·          building cost and time certainty into programmes and projects

·          benchmarking to get the best value from investments

·          assembling and organising an optimal supply chain

·          dealing with environmental and sustainability issues

·          using technology more in road construction and management

THE ROLE:

A senior level individual is required to lead the Highways Sector in Scotland and Ireland. The successful candidate will have the following key accountabilities:

1. Development of the Highways division in Scotland and Ireland. This will include identification and evaluation of new business opportunities along with the maximisation of existing relationships.

2. Team management; including the recruitment, development and coordination of a multi-disciplinary team which will incorporate Engineers, Commercial Specialists, Project / Programme Managers, Risk Specialists and Consultants.

THE PERSON:

A highly experienced Transport professional with significant sector exposure within the Scottish and / or Irish markets. Candidates must have a proven track record within business development and high value commission management. Professional qualifications and chartered status is highly desirable.
