Web Designer Edinburgh   £28,839 - £35,469 – 5 years initially

The Heriot-Watt web presence is undergoing a transformational upgrade. To deliver our ambitious programme for change, we are expanding our specialist web team and looking to recruit a Web Designer.

You will be able to demonstrate a strong portfolio of interactive web design work and experience of designing websites and supporting digital material.  You will require an excellent knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and DreamWeaver.

You will be have broad ranging technical knowledge that complements your design skills, namely the ability to develop enterprise scale websites with CSS/XHTML whilst working predominantly with Content Management Systems.

You will be enthusiastic with excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to be part of a dynamic and successful team.

Applicants invited for interview will be expected to present reference websites and/or make a presentation.
